The project “REMOTE CTRL” aimed to build employees' skills and attributes, preparing them to implement remote working or flexible working patterns, and increase their potential to adapt to the changing digitised economy.
The project developed appropriate training resources to respond to the needs of employers, employees and VET tutors in a distance working environment.
The project supported frontline educators, entrepreneurs, business managers and individual employees to take the first step towards rebuilding their social, civic and economic life by adapting to remote working.
The project developed:
- Masterclasses and Handbook for Employers - consisting of a comprehensive training programme delivered through a series of time-limited masterclass sessions to support managers to adapt their management style to a remote working environment..
- Employee Toolkit - – aims to develop employees' remote working literacy so they can successfully manage careers remotely.
- In-service Training Programme for VET Tutors - – this programme supports VET tutors to make the most of both manuals, thus supporting employers during their remote working journey.
- MOOC – all the materials created during the life of the project are in an Intensive Open Online Course (MOOC) format. It is free for anyone and can be accessed remotely from anywhere in the world. The MOOC is fully optimised across all devices and platforms.
- Policy Recommendations Report – a key publication at the end of this project that allowed partners and stakeholders to reflect on lessons learned, make policy recommendations and influence labour market and VET policy at national and European level.
