The project “Way2Go – Equipar Jovens com Ferramentas para Participar em Projetos Erasmus+” project aims to promote people with functional diversity as individuals with varied abilities, talents and interests who present insider knowledge and experience on topics related to accessibility and inclusion, and who as such constitute an asset for associated international programmes and projects.
The project foresees that young people with functional diversity and/or disadvantage are equipped with digital tools that enable them to be better prepared to participate in Erasmus+ projects and more confident in their knowledge and talent. The project also foresees that people working with young people and relevant stakeholders are equipped with the necessary capacities to assess their ability to include, develop, implement and retain people with functional diversity and/or disadvantage in their work activities. The main target groups are thus young people with functional diversity and/or disadvantage, people working with young people and relevant stakeholders and those interested in successful inclusion in Erasmus+ projects.
In the implementation of the project, we will develop the following outputs::
- Network and inclusive online platform facilitating cooperation between people with disabilities and organisations interested in participating in European programmes.
- Training of people with disabilities, people working with young people and stakeholders on topics related to inclusion and accessibility.
- Awareness raising campaigns related to the results obtained during the project and in general to the topic of accessibility of opportunities for people with disabilities and/or disadvantages.
This project is supported in the frame of the Erasmus+ European programme.
