The project “YOULead” project aims to empower and support young people's active engagement and civic participation in public affairs, with a special focus on young people with fewer opportunities.

It will provide tools for informal and non-formal education, ensuring the promotion of democratic values, enabling the understanding of political and social contexts, the recognition of the threats of disinformation, polarisation and propaganda.

YOULead will:

• Provide young people with learning opportunities and resources to achieve an active presence in the public sphere, conceptualise, structure and promote their perceptions, views and suggestions in their fields of interest.
• Support organisations and staff working in the youth field to be in a position to empower, train, guide and support young people to become active citizens and foster civic participation.
