The project “The Bond” project were to improve the situation of teenage girlswho become pregnant and, above all, to address the challenges of teenage mothers in order to prevent social exclusion.
The project was innovative and additionally allowed the creation of specific tools, taking into account the needs of the target group.
The important element of the activity was the promotion of a positive pedagogy, focussing on girls' strengths rather than their deficits.
The project has gathered resources for specialists working with teenage mothers who do not have specially dedicated working tools, who have never attended trainings that allowed adequate preparation for working with this specific group of young women.
To summarise, with this project we aim to:

  • Create innovative methodologies in order to promote the social inclusion of teenage mothers.
  • Create resources for social and youth workers who intervene with the target group.
  • Create support groups for teenage mothers.
  • Provide information, resources, and experiences from multidisciplinary experts.
  • Include the target group in sharing experiences on early motherhood.
  • Provide information on online educational resources.
  • Promote the sharing of good practices from all partner countries.

This project is supported in the frame of the Erasmus+ European programme.
