The project “Positive Mental Health Project” promotes mental health and explains the impact of FOMO by developing a Toolkit of 12 interactive infographics and 4 learning resources available to all.

Mental health problems such as depression, anxiety disorders and drug and alcohol use disorders affect more than one in six people across the European Union. Fear of being unpopular, unattractive or insufficient are the main stressors - for which social media plays an important role - where young people's mental health is affected.

In addition to the impact on people's identity and well-being, the total costs of mental illness are estimated to exceed 600 billion - or more than 4 per cent of GDP - across all 28 EU countries.

To help address the impact of mental health in partner countries, the project has created the following free online resources::

  • Interactive Infographic Resource Toolkit
  • Training Programme
  • Peer leadership programme

This project is supported in the frame of the Erasmus+ european programme - Innovation
