The project "BEST-Building Environmental awareness and sustainability values through the Head, Heart and Hands Model for Transformative Learning” aims to address the challenges faced by young people (aged 15-29) and Youth technicians across Europe by providing a set of resources they can use to get involved in defending the planet.
The project aims to create a training and intervention space for young people motivated to act on climate change and to become agents of change in their local and national communities.
Within the framework of the project, the following work packages will be developed:
- Mapping the challenges faced by young people when acting in nature protection. The two main objectives of this package of activities are:
a) map out the exact challenges that young people face in their active involvement in Environmental Protection;
b) create participatory opportunities and "give voice" to the environmental concerns and motivations of young people. - Transformative education for climate change – a training program for Youth technicians.
- Sustainable ideas bank for combating climate change - as an online toolkit, the sustainable ideas Bank will be an open online space to create dialogue and communication between youth and Youth technicians on Climate Change.
This project is supported in the frame of the Erasmus+ European programme.
