The project “Youth-Led Local Development” project aims to improve, through continuous learning, the awareness, interest, knowledge, and participation of young people living in rural and remote areas, who face socio-economic difficulties to their civic participation and community-led activities. In this way, we seek to promote inclusion, social innovation, sustainable development, and the quality of economic opportunities.

By engaging, connecting, and empowering young people, our project seeks to strengthen cross-sectoral co-operation, create synergies between different geographical areas, and develop actions that matter for local communities across Europe.

The project team will design and develop training materials and a toolkit to support young people's participation in local community-based development (CLLD) activities in the 4 partner countries. Approaches to engaging young people and community groups in CLLD activities will be presented in the form of learning materials and workshop plans that will be designed to address the identified issues and practices that hinder youth participation.

This project is supported in the frame of the Erasmus+ European programme.
